Happy Sunday!

Did everyone get up to something fun this week? I hope you all managed to stay warm and cuddled up by your humans during that nasty winter storm. We didn’t get much of a storm here just a day of rain. When I look at all of the great pictures people have post of the amount of snow fall they received I don’t feel bad at all about be stuck inside on a rainy day.

I haven’t been up to much this week, just nosing about with my sisters and brothers. Sam has been chasing us around a lot since we were stuck inside with rain. I think he forgets he’s cat when we get inside the house, and to be honest we all forget we are dogs because we run away like we are mice or something. However, when we go outside things change and we chase him around and then he runs like a proper cat.

Don’t forget Valentine’s Day is this week! I hope we get some extra special treats to celebrate. We love it that our humans include us in all of the holiday celebrations. I bet we get either homemade doggy treats or some nice bones with red ribbons, that’s what we had in past years.

I’m going to run off now and see what I can dig up to talk about next week. I hope everything you dig up ends up to be treasures.

Pawalla Giveaway

Hello everyone! Little Yellow Dog is bringing you the Sunday post early this week! It’s going to be a busy weekend around here because we are celebrating one of my human’s birthday – he is old, I’m not allowed to say how old.

It’s been a pretty typical week for me this week filled with lots of playing, treats and general furry mischief. We got the tree put up, well they got the tree put up – I watched and helped by not getting into things, which was hard because they were shiny and round like some of my toys.

I have some great news for you today too! You remember Pawalla? Of course you do, from my great review. Well they have offered three fans the chance to win their own great Pawalla box! Are you excited? I know I am!

Happy Birthday Patches & Lady

Happy Sunday!

It’s been another lazy week for this little yellow dog. Patches and Lady celebrated their sixth birthday on Halloween. We all got to celebrate by having special bones from the butcher and extra treats. I like extra treats. They got to wear hats… I don’t think Patches liked her hat but she didn’t have to wear it: Lady took hers off pretty quickly too.

After the party it got dark and all sorts of kids came by dressed in fantastic costumes. The kids got extra treats too; it seems like the whole neighborhood was helping us celebrate the birthdays! We got to stay outside and watch and bark a lot. I didn’t bark as much as the others, no really I didn’t. I hope you all had as much fun this Halloween as we did.

I can’t believe it’s already November. I love this time of year because the weather is cooler and we can run around a lot more but I know it won’t be long before the snow comes and then our humans don’t play outside as much. I don’t really mind the snow and Patches likes to eat it! Do you like the snow?

I’m going to sign off for now. I hope this month is off to a great start for you.

Love,
Little Yellow Dog

Sunday Greetings

Hi everyone!

I hope you have had a wonderful week and stay safe during the storm if you are in its’ path. Please remember to make plans for your furry companions when you at the shop getting your last minute supplies. They will need the same types of things you do only of a pet variety. 😉

Also in other areas, like my own, the weather has gone from 87 to 57 in a matter of days. It’s cold for me because my winter coat hasn’t had the time to come in yet. I’m so glad my humans are aware of that and don’t leave me out over night!

That’s all that is new for me this week, how about you? Are you doing anything special for Halloween? I don’t usually dress up because I won’t sit still and the costumes feel really uncomfortable. My brothers and sisters don’t like it much either!

Have a wonderful holiday I will bark to you again soon.

Love,
Little Yellow Dog.

A Day Out

Happy Sunday everyone! It’s been such a long week for this little yellow dog. We’ve had lots of storms and that means we’ve been pent up in the house for what seems like an eternity. I get really bored when I am stuck inside for too long. Thankfully the weather took a lovely shift this morning and we were able to get outside and have a great play!

My favorite thing to do ever is to go down to the lake. We have a lovely lake that is never too busy, which means we can go there and get off the leash. I’m always surprised that no one is there because it really is a lovely place, with all sorts of things to do from swimming to grilling and they even have trails. I don’t think we’ve ever run into more than one or two people there before.

When we get in the car things are so exciting. Sometimes I’m scared because it could mean the lake or it could mean the vet and I never have fun at the vet. Patches always has fun in the car. She likes to stick her head out of the window. I personally don’t find it that fun but to each their own and I like to see her happy.

Once we get to the lake though it’s all fun for both of us. We usually go two at a time because our humans struggle when there are four of us (we are trouble makers and like to run off) and this time is was me and Patches. We had a great run around and Patches even got in the water! I’ve never been in the water yet but I think I might try next time, maybe, I’ll let Fudge try next and see if he likes it.

Sometimes we run too far off and the humans have to shout for us to come back. They don’t know that we only do that to get extra treats. It’s nice of them to always bring treats wherever we go.

There is also a bridge there too. We mostly run under it like you see here but we have all been over it at least once. It’s pretty up there but Patches is afraid of heights and she doesn’t have much fun up there. Oddly enough Patches is even afraid of being upstairs in the house. I’m not bothered really.

At any rate, now that I’ve had a good long play at the lake I’m pretty tired and ready for a long afternoon nap. I hope you all had a lovely week.

Love,
Little Yellow Dog.

The Day My Humans Found Me

Image

As you can see it was a very very snowy day! I’m the blonde and that is my brother Fudge. My humans already had two dogs Lady and Patches and I don’t think they were expecting us to be riding out the blizzard under their car.

They still gives us those looks when we get to playful. I love my big sisters just as much as my brother and my humans.

I hope you will stick around and get to know me. I’ll be telling you stories about my life, adventures new and old and all about new things I get to try… especially treats. I love trying new treats.
